BIDEN GIVES TENS OF BILLIONS TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES AND NOTHING TO AMERICAN SENIORS AND SOCIAL SECURITY

Biden promised to increase Social Security payments and offsets for seniors and veterans yet, not only, has he done nothing, but government funds for seniors have gotten WORSE!

Are Social Security Benefit Cuts Coming?

The chance of problems affecting the timely funding of Social Security benefits appears to be growing this year. The Republican majority in the House pushed through a new set of rules which would make it harder to raise the federal debt limit without corresponding spending cuts. That includes rules that would complicate the consideration of legislation that would increase mandatory spending without cuts. Mandatory spending provides funding for Social Security, Medicare, and other safety net programs. A supermajority, or 290 votes out of 435, would be required in the House of Representatives to raise taxes.

Biden asks Congress for $40 BILLION in extra funds – including an extra $13 BILLION for Ukraine – teeing up potential showdown with Congress

NEW The Biden administration asked Congress on Thursday for an additional $21 billion in funding for Ukraine, teeing off a bitter showdown with the GOP-controlled House.

  • Billions to Ukraine. Billions to states like New York to house, clothe and feed people living illegally in our country. But the Biden Administration’s position on valued seniors who worked hard to make this country try great: “tough luck.”

Our country has given over $200 billion to Ukraine and on a different article I just read that Biden has just asked for another $40 billion for Ukraine. Let’s not forget all the money being spent on food, housing, cell phones, medical care, etc. for the illegals coming into the US. A 3% increase for retirees who have paid into the system is a disgrace because it doesn’t even begin to cover the huge inflation we now have!

For decades it’s been apparent to most that social security should not be relied on as a sole source of income in retirement. Saving a little from each paycheck at an early age and not wasting money on loans for pickup trucks would leave many in a more secure financial position.

This is just criminal. I have paid into the system for 40 years. This money was to be set aside and not touched yet our government chose to rob our savings account to spend as they see fit. I would rather see the entire federal government defunded rather than having social security cut. Taking the pensions of every elected official and throwing it into social security would be a great start.

SS is a big pyramid scheme. I worked and paid into SS for almost 60 years. It’s not like any of us had a choice. Remember, Boomers payments financed the retirements of our parents and grandparents, many of whom never paid in to SS at all. Those generations are the ones who benefited for free. Not us.

The idea is that Americans should have the discipline to save on their own, not rely on Social Security payments, that’s why Republicans want to end it. But liberals lack discipline to work hard and save money. To those smart people who did save money, lower Social Security payments won’t matter. People need to work hard and save when they are young. So many people don’t plan for their future, they just want immediate gratification.
